Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that Gumi, the Megpoid singing synthesizer software's mascot character, will appear in Sega's Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai rhythm game. Gumi will feature in the game's "Matryoshka" and "Happy Synthesizer" songs.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai will include the Vocaloid characters Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Kaito, and Meiko in a Nendoroid style that can appear in an augmented-reality concert using the system's camera. Sega began streaming a 150-second trailer on the game's official site in September. The company will release Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai for the Nintendo 3DS in March 2012.
The Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- extend PSP game shipped in Japan on November 10. Another game in the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- series, Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Arcade, appeared at the 2011 J-Pop Summit Festival.
