Katamari Damacy no Vita Game's Opening Movie Streamed

Namco Bandai Games began streaming the opening movie for its Katamari Damacy no Vita game this week. The game will be one of the launch title for the PlayStation Vita system in Japan on December 17.

Like in the previous games, the player rolls the Katamari ball to collect items and make the ball bigger. Unlike in the previous games, players can use the PS Vita's front and rear touch panels to "stretch" or "shrink" the Katamari ball. By expanding the ball, the player can collect a lot more material on open plains. On the flip side, the player can make the ball narrower to navigate alleyways for items.
