Tiger & Bunny Ad Posted in 13-Million-Yen Building Wall Space
posted on by Egan Loo
The Shibuya 109 department store, a landmark tower in Tokyo's bustling Shibuya shopping district, posted a giant, multi-floor ad for Sunrise's Tiger & Bunny anime on Saturday. The ad will stay up until November 19 as part of a elaborate publicity campaign. On Sunday, representatives are giving away bags and putting the anime on display.
According to the Transit-Ad's website, a 12 by 8.9 meter (39 by 29 feet) ad costs 13 million yen (about US$166,000) for 14 days. Before the ad goes down, Sunrise will hold the "Tiger & Bunny Hero Awards" event, the first part of the "next project" for Tiger & Bunny. Masayuki Ozaki, the General Manager of Overseas Development at the anime studio Sunrise, said last month that his studio is hoping to announce the "next step" for the Tiger & Bunny franchise.
