Fourth Professor Layton Game U.K. Release on November 25

The Official Nintendo Magazine website has announced that the fourth game in Level-5's Professor Layton puzzle game series will come to the U.K. on November 25 on the Nintendo DS. The title is Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call, known in America as Professor Layton and the Last Specter. The game is a prequel, set before the previous three games, and includes more than 170 puzzles.

The Nintendo website also reports that Nintendo has "no plans" to include the London Life game in the U.K. edition of Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call. London Life was a bonus role-playing game included with the Japanese edition of the game; it is also due to be included in the U.S. edition.

The anime film spinoff from the game series, Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, is available on U.K. DVD and Blu-ray from Manga Entertertainment.

The entertainment news website IGN is now streaming a 76-second English-language trailer for the game (under its Last Specter title), prior to its U.S. release in October.
