Fate/EXTRA PSP Game Ships in North America in November

Aksys Games is releasing the Fate/Extra PSP role-playing game in North America on November 1. Japanese game developers Imageepoch and TYPE-MOON designed the game based on the Fate/stay night visual novel. The game was originally released in Japan last year. Announced for North American release in July, the game features a scenario separate from the anime with new and returning characters.
Limited and regular edition versions of the game will be available, and the limited edition will include some of the items bundled with the Japanese version of the game like a 15-page Fate Visual Works art book and the 11 song Limited Soundtrack. Retail price is listed as US$39.99 for the limited edition, US$29.99 for the standard edition, and US$24.99 for the PlayStation®Network download version of the game. The game holds and ESRB T for Teen rating.
Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine recently announced a sequel to the game titled Fate/Extra CCC, and it will go on sale in Japan next spring.
The Fate/stay night television anime series premiered in Japan in 2005. Manga, visual novel, and anime film adaptations followed, and a prequel anime series will begin airing in Japan this October.
