A.C.G./Casio Sell AnoHana Digital Camera
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Intellectual property managing company All Contents Gateway (A.C.G.) and Casio are collaborating to produce an Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. (anohana) anime-themed Casio EXILIM camera. The digital camera went on sale on September 8, and it will ship in Japan in October. Costing 23,100 yen (about US$300), only 100 special edition anohana EXILIM Zoom EX-Z800 cameras will be made.
The camera's body features art from the anime's ending, and Menma, a main character in the anime, appears on the startup screen. The camera also has a "dynamic photo" function allowing users to insert images of the child or high school version of anohana's six main characters into photographs taken with the camera. Full specifications are available at the Brain Police OnLine Shop website, which is selling the camera.
A special polyester lap blanket, valued at 5,040 yen (about US$65), also comes with the camera. It features the high school-aged versions of the main characters without Menma.
Last year, Casio released similar Naruto, Bleach, and Tensai Bakabon-themed EXILIM cameras.
