In the above image, an unidentified cosplayer portrays Yui Hirasawa, the protagonist of kakifly's manga K-ON! and its 2009 television anime adaptation. In the series, Yui is a spacey high school student who decides to join her school's light music club and its band, Ho-kago Tea Time, despite having barely any experience with instruments. The costume shown here is her concert outfit from the series' first ending, "Don't Say Lazy."
The photo was taken at Anime Expo 2010, which took place in Los Angeles from July 1 to 4.
