Ascendent Animation Announces Full Cast/Crew & Teaser of Ishida And Asakura

LOS ANGELES, CA – August 19th, 2020 – Ascendent Animation is proud to present the full cast and crew as well as a teaser of the English dub of Ishida and Asakura. Everyone involved has been working hard, remotely, to give you the same quality of dub that you're used to, utilizing talent from all over the world.

Ishida and Asakura follows the quirky and crazy adventures of two high school students who just want to achieve their dreams after graduation. Ishida wants to open up a flower shop with his best friend, while Asakura wants nothing more than to be surrounded by boobs. (Yes, we said boobs)

The clip we are sharing includes Mr. Yamaguchi (Christopher Escalante), a very unusual math teacher, getting to know some of the students, particularly Yamada (Steve Warky Nunez), Ishida (Joshua Waters), and Asakura (Cole Feuchter).

The fast-paced, slapstick comedy adds to the oddly charming nature of the show, as you will see in the short clip we are previewing here:

For this show, we were able to audition and hire talent from all over the world and include opportunities for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Ascendent Animation will continue to hire talent from all over, whether it be remotely or having talent present in the studio.
