Part I
Yoko Mano is the inheritor of a proud family tradition - but she doesn't know it yet. Since the earliest times in Japan, her ancestors in the female line have been devil hunters, defending humanity against the army of darkness. Now Yoko is sixteen, old enough to take over from her grandmother as the 108th generation of demon hunters in the Mano family. It's a pity Yoko doesn't believe in all that ancient mythology, ...yet...
In the first of this made for video series, the last part of which has only just appeared in Japan, Yoko finally comes to believe in her destiny and begins to understand why her mother and grandmother have such a fiery relationship! It's tough having to stay pure in body and mind so you can fight something you don't even believe in, when the school vamp is moving in on the boy you've secretly fancied for ages; but she's really an agent of darkness and the designs she has on his body aren't quite what Yoko has in mind!
