MARY and KING have been captured by invading troops. JEAN and NADIA devise a plan to rescue them. The daring journey takes them into the heart of a strange, technologically advanced fortress.
While working as forced laborers, GRANDIS and her two men-at-arms attempt to escape. Their impromptu plan fails and they are carried off to prison.
As JEAN and NADIA emerge from the labyrinth of tunnels which honeycomb the complex, they note the arrival of GARGOYLE, leader of the masked troops.
Eventually the two young heroes are trapped. JEAN is wounded and unable to keep up with the accomplished acrobat. The nimble NADIA sets herself up as a "decoy" in the hopes of allowing JEAN a chance to escape.
