In the later 1990s she restyled herself the "live-action anime girl" and was the host of Sci-Fi Channel's Anime Week in 1998. She also voice acted in a number of anime, and played the lead role in the Space Channel 5 console game series. She was a frequent anime and sci-fi convention guest, making many convention appearances.
In 1998 Smile released a comic-book that featured her as the main character. Two issues were released.
In the 2000s she retired her "live-action anime girl" persona and has focused on mainstream entertainment. She has played minor roles in a number of TV series and also performed as Elisha Cuthbert's stunt double in the 2008 American remake of My Sassy Girl.
She was lead singer for the band Rockbot between 2001 and 2003.
