Plot Summary:
A small-country princess and shut-in named Rosemarie is, ever since a fateful visit to the neighboring country of Baltzar as a child, able to see individual's true intentions. Things like jealousy, anger, and deception manifest physically as beastly traits and so Rosemarie hides herself from the world and the monsters that inhabit it. That is until she's specifically requested to attend a ball in Baltzar and she meets Crown Prince Claudio, a handsome man whose countenance never changes. Rosemarie assumes that this means he's a person of pure intentions and the two are quickly engaged and wed. It's on her wedding night that Rosemarie discovers who her husband truly is: a lion-headed beast.
