The triumvirate of Lillian Jogakuen are called not by French but Latin names of their respective roses: Rosa chinensis (Chinese rose, red), Rosa foetida (Austrian yellow), and Rosa gigantea (Manipur wild-tea rose, white).
The Latin names translate as: Rosa chinensis = Chinese rose; Rosa foetida = Scented Rose; Rosa gigantea = Giant Rose
The title theme "Pastel Pure" is nearly identical to "Yume no Ato Ni apres un reve" from the Wish Radio drama. This is because Mikiya Katakura composed both pieces - the latter under the auspices of Ali Project.
Kana Ueda (seiyuu for Yumi Fukuzawa) calls Miki Itou (seiyuu for Sachiko Ogasawara) "onee-sama" beyond recording sessions of MariMite: she does so off stage and even at recording sessions of other anime. When she does so, Miki Itou calls her "Yumi-chan" in return.
The French title of episode 11 is "Les pétales blanches" (White petals), but there is a big misspelling : the noun "pétales" is not feminine but masculine. Thus, the title should be "Les pétales blancs".
In Episode 13 "Good Day, onee-sama", Ave Maria is sung by Rino, the seiyuu for Rosa Kanina
