Trivia:

The band who sung the OP, ALI Project, also sung the OPs for Rozen Maiden. Both series also heavily feature ball-jointed dolls.

In episode 4 at about 08:52, Kouichi is seen looking at his reflection in a large sheet of glass placed on top of a pick-up truck and then touching his throat while remembering nurse Mizuno's words about Damien. This is a reference to an infamous scene in the 1976 horror movie “The Omen” where a character is decapitated by a horizontal sheet of glass.

In Episode 6, Misaki and Sakakibara are dancing in the classroom, it kinda reminds of the dance sequence in the movie "Pulp Fiction".
