Assassination Classroom's Yusei Matsui Draws 1-Shot Kendō Romantic Comedy Manga

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that manga creator Yūsei Matsui (Assassination Classroom) will publish a new one-shot manga titled "F-Ken" (upper left in image below) in the magazine's 36th issue on August 5. The manga will have 45 pages including a color page. The magazine teases that the one-shot will be a romantic comedy story about "youth and conflict" centering on "righteous, hot-blooded kendō" (Japanese martial arts with bamboo swords).
The one-shot is the second of two "big" one-shots that Shueisha is publishing in Weekly Shonen Jump. The magazine published artist Yūsuke Murata's (One-Punch Man, Eyeshield 21) one-shot "Kagaku to Mahō no Kakutōka-tachi" (The Science and Magic Hand-to-Hand Fighters) in the 35th issue on Monday. Korosuke Inu (Ultimate Janken) is credited for the manga's story.
