Anime Boston 2004
Anime Crash
by Mikhail Koulikov,
Studio Representative: James Veronico
Anime Crash, the anime/manga licensing arm of the Crash Media Group, will begin releasing Geisters - Fractions of the Earth (one of the first official Japanese/Korean animated co-productions) in the near future. The five volumes of the 26-episode series will be released at six-week intervals. Each volume will include a bonus action figure and a larger sixth figure will be made avaiable to customers who have purchased all five volumes. The Korean animation series Ki Fighter Taerang will be released sometime in 2004 as well. Mr. Veronico also discussed the potential applications of the conductive ink technology developed by Crash Media which will allow for "talking manga" (circuitry embedded in certain areas of a page produced a voice recording when activated by pressing), but did not discuss specific titles this technology will be used in.
