Don't forget their awesome OVAs like Blue 6 and Yukikaze! Gonzo was CG pioneers back in my early days as an anime fan.

I expected Asano herself to join the cast, but it's probably fitting to use a beginning voice actresses to voice a beginning voice actresses.

Tower of Druaga, the first legally English-subbed simulcast, was done by Gonzo.

They went all-in trying to cater to international audiences back around that time but wound up bankrupt when it turned out Western fans just didn't buy anime in enough volume to justify catering to their tastes when they were contrary to mainstream domestic interests. The company is very lucky to have survived being delisted from the tokyo stock exchange. They're still an excellent studio, but they just don't have the manpower or.clout they once did.

While the company names are different, they continue to exist (and have been successful) in the forms of David Production, Studio Gokumi, Sanzigen, Graphinica, etc.

Ahh... Good old Gonzo. Been a while since their last major anime project so I hope this works out for them. Last Exile Fam was a bit of a mess, but Blade & Soul showed they were still alive and willing to animate stuff.

Being a doujinshi manga by Hata, I'm guessing this might be a fairly low-budget show, but it's still something.

They did one title last year, honestly I am wondering how they are still around.

I do like them. But honestly one of the most variable companies in terms of quality of output around.

Actually they did three shows in 2013, which is far better then their output last year, which was only Blade & Soul. Although I haven't been checking credits much lately, I imagine they probably have been filling their time doing in-between stuff for other studios. They seem to make their money doing that, then blow it all making shows that bomb! Wink
