Haven't read this, but just from the desciption, sounds an awful lot like The Final Countdown, wherein the USS Nimitz is thrown back in time to the day before Pearl Harbor. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Cool, heard about this cool manga Zipang a while ago and it's wicked that they are now doing an anime of it. Hopefully well see the manga being picked up too for english translation. I am so happy, this news has made my day.
