In all honestly, I thought Geneon would get the license of Puchi Puri Yuushi. Despite that, I can finally check out episodes 5-7 since it wasn't available in fansubs.

Yeah, I saw the first episode raw at NDK last year. I was interested in checking out more, but when I saw that gap in the fansubbers, I decided I wouldn't bother. I was curious where it was going to go, so now I'll have the opportunity to see it.

Um, this info is based on a reader submission from Anime on DVD. Not to doubt creditability on AoDVD, but is this gonna be another "End of Inu-Yasha" story?

Given the outlining of how it's been posted, this announcement carries a bit more weight than some standard... oh, this is what I read on the forums. In all fairness, this should be also much easier to confirm as well. Considering we aren't dealing with a crossover of languages and assumptions, this is a bit more direct and therefore, more reasonable to announce.
