Actually, UK got the Pokemon typing game with the keyboard and North America didn't. So there's that. EDIT: Also coming to Europe: http://gematsu.com/2014/05/pokemon-art-academy-coming-north-america-europe |

Nice.
I've never played any of the other Art Academy games. However, I love to draw and I love Pokemon. This is a win-win for me. :p |

I've played the Art Academy games and they're definitely a good intermediate tool, but with some major limitations. Either way, I like each iteration and will gladly get this one, too.
But one thing has been bugging me. It's called "Pokemon Art Academy" in Japanese, but the previous games were called, "Eigokoro Kyoushitsu" in Japanese. Only when they were brought over to America were any of them called "Art Academy", but this one is obviously written as "Aato Akademii" in Japanese. It LOOKS and PLAYS like the older games, and it even has a character who looks somewhat like Vince from the older games, but the guy's name isn't Vince (nor is it Pokemon-themed) and the "gameplay" concept isn't exactly so unique that it has to be restricted to one "game/app." Is this actually part of the same series? Like, is it being developed by the same people? ._. |
