Yes! I have been hoping for this. I'm playing FC through again right now. Best news in a long time.

HOLY LORD OF THE MOTHER! I have been waiting for this for a really long time now. I might get this game just to read all the background information that were scattered around the game universe when I played it in Japanese.

Because, for one thing, they're really good, and because it's like going into the third Star Wars movie without watching the others otherwise.

Then you damn well better make sure everyone you know buys a copy. Once they do (IF they do) 3rd, it's the point of no return as it pretty much requires them to go on with the series which alone is a HUGE investment.

Well because it's good and the old stuff(Ys) has been selling well for them on Steam.

So I get to skip one mediocre movie and one god awful movie ? Sounds like an improvement.

For Ys Oath In Felghana they used a fan translation. I doubt they would have touched the game otherwise.

Well they released the first Trails game and fans have been clamoring for the sequel ever since (the first game ends on a huge cliffhanger) I'm really glad that they're not skipping SC just because it's "old"

And? It was the same with the PSP release. And well what you're saying dosen't make much sense, because why the hell are they bothering with all the other YS games than?
You doubt they would have brought over Oath, but then why have they made this publishing relationship with Falcom and have released Origins, 1 and 2 for PSP/Steam, 7, and now 4? And on the PSP version of Oath they even bothered to give it voice acting.
What you're saying dosen't really add up with what they've done.

This is a direct continuation of the last game (Trails in the Sky ended on a cliffhanger). If you played it you would understand why there is so much demand for the sequel to get localized.

If you can think for more than 2 secs before posting, it adds up pretty nicely. Ys 0, 1, 2 also had fan translations that they likely used.
Just face it, Ys 7 is the only thing they actually bothered with. And yea, I'm sure that those few voiced Ys 3 segments killed their budget.

That makes sense.
