Wish Media Blasters would get their s**t together with the first season release. Seems madness to hold onto such a money maker and just not get it out the door. Should be their no.1 priority over everything else.

Almost makes it a waste of a license when you think about it.

God, not more nano.RAPE. Why the hell do they keep using that ear-bleeding band?

Well that's a surprise. I didn't expect nano.RIPE to perform Bakuman's theme song given the previous anime they've been on.

But anyhoo, looking forward to it.

It just means that Lantis is producing the music now. As with any label, their mission is to push certain acts (give them lots of exposure by having them contribute to multiple shows) in the hope of making them popular. This worked for Sphere, but if nano.RIPE doesn't pan out, they'll just promote a different act.

Exactly. Lantis targets the otaku market.

Previous seasons of Bakuman featured mainstream artists from Warner Bros, such as Kobukuro and Tommy heavenly6.

Not a huge fan of nano.RIPE, I think Sphere is ok though.

I'd like to see more Kawada/Kotoko themed shows. I don't think I'd expect that for Bakuman though. It's never had the greatest music, although it's been ok.
