Not surprising at all if there was an actual announcement. The 10th novel comes out this month, too...so there's plenty of material to adapt.

Now, it's just the waiting game for whenever it could come out.

I don't think ANN has any history of pulling (or biting on) this kind of prank. Maybe I'm wrong, but this news is most likely 100% legit.

Oh yes!!!!

Maybe this will lead to Aniplex USA giving us a Blu-ray release, or regular edition DVD once they get the second season.

Why, thank you, Captain Obvious.

Despite the date, I am going to believe in your news report ANN. After all, you are "the internet's most trusted anime news source".

Hooray for the second season!

April 1 is allegedly a quarterly report day for Japan, so they could be telling the truth.

The first season sold something like 20,000 copies of each volume. It was a huge success and the novels were ongoing, so a second series was all but guaranteed to happen eventually.

There is absolutely no reason to think this is an April Fool's joke and if it was, it would be one of the dumbest April Fool's "jokes" in history.

If it's a April Fool's joke then it's by the cast and whoever runs the website in the link. Here's hoping that it isn't a joke.

Remember people, this was done at an expo with 50,000 attendees:

animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-03-25/anime-contents-expo-sells-50801-advance-tickets

Why the hell would they set up a giant expo to promote the industry, and then just give fake information?

This is 100% legit. If it wasn't, then AIC would lose lots of money in their stocks since these kinds of trade shows are done for the stockholders.
