The question is: how will the action be?
If it is as good as in Heartcatch Precure, I'm in.

Suite PreCure had amazing yuri subtext.
And eh, yeah, it's definitely borrowing from Yes PreCure 5. I mean, I know some people liked to trash Suite, but at least that had a unique art style (one of the best, I'd say.. Cure Rhythm is hands down the most beautiful Precure to date) and did some interesting things like Siren and Cure Muse. This just seems like retread territory and very standard, but who knows, maybe the new show will surprise me. I liked the whole "only 2 and more show up later" format used in the last few PreCure.. it also added a bit of mystery/suspense as people guessed who the new PreCures would be (even if us Waon fans were robbed)

Horrible pacing, terrible villains, questionable choices in the story (even for a children show)... That's enough for considering Suite bad, art style or not.

Actually, the reason why we saw the previews for Smile Precure! so early was the fact on Friday, January 6, 2012 in Japan, McDonald's starting handing out Smile Precure! data cards as part of their Happy Meals sold in Japan.
This is probably the earliest I've seen Toei Animation/TV Asahi preview the next Pretty Cure season in a long, long time.

I just saw those in Mcdonald's today and was curious about that myself...
