When I first saw "business" novel, I though "Oh, god this is gonna be horrible". But it's about Baseball, too, which seems to be kinda popular.
Though, What If a Female Manager of a High School Baseball Team Read Drucker's "Management"? is a pretty cumbersome name. |

I would really love to see this. Two subjects that interest me: Business and Baseball. Also gives me hope for an intelligent script since they mentioned the demographic they are targeting.

Sounds like that banksy/simpsons ep that just came out...
When I read "business" I thought "like hataraki man? mm could be interesting" then I read baseball and dispirited and thought "so it's baseball giant killing?" (ps i haven't watched giant killing) I'm seriously digging that chick on the poster though, so i'll probably check this out maybe. |

1. Why would baseball make you dispirited? 2. Why would it being a baseball anime make you think of a soccer anime? |

By make me dispirited do you mean why would I be uninterested in it because it's baseball? It's not that I lost interest because it's baseball. It's more that I lost interest because it seemed (to me, by what my understanding of Giant Killing) exactly like a show that just came out. 2. it reminded me of giant killing because I group all sports titles together. Soccer, baseball, boxing. they're all sports, and within the sports genre, regardless of the actual sport it's focusing on, the titles are usually pretty similar. |

Hmm. Well, I dunno, some sports are better than others, to me anyway.
*goes back to watching Giants vs. Phillies* |

Just saw the promo video. Was I naive to assume that she would be managing a boys' baseball team? I think that would have made for a better show.

Sounds interesting, but didn't we just see an episode of The Simpsons last week with a similar plot?

Yes--not really any connection though.

Thanks to Pony Canyon's Teppei Nojima, this article now has the listings for the director, series script supervisor, and animation studio (Production I.G).

As a fan of baseball, I'll probably check this out. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Production IG is doing the animation production.

Oh nice. Yeah, the IG attachment predisposes me to at least try an episode out.

Guess they had to shorten the title down from "What If, Per Chance, a Feminine Supervisor For a Company of Adolescents Playing Baseball And Currently Attending High School Interpreted Her Coaching Methods From a Book From Peter Drucker, Which Is Entitled 'Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices'?"
