Maybe I'm just lame or something, but the heck is up with this "Domo" thing? I've seen it places, and then all of a sudden it showed up in Target o__O

Yeah, but it would be sad if anything happened to em. Most of the titles I like are either from them or Viz. Claymore and + Anima FTW!. |

But it has rounded ears, usually associated with bears (though bears don't actually have rounded ears). |

I still say it's a bear-pig. Or pig-bear. Or something of the sort. I always liked TBS more than NHK, anyway. It's probably because of Evening 5 and Tokyo Friend Park 2. |

Domo Manga! I can't wait!
Maybe Target noticed the rising popularity of anime over here and decided to invest in Domo merchandise. Something to draw in the otaku crowd? Afterall, it's not like your average person knows what Domo is.

Now that Tokyopop has decided to embrace Domo, could an adaptation of Hokkaidō heartthrob Marimokkori possibly be next? I would just love to see the reactions when that one hit the shelves down at my local Barnes & Noble.
For what it's worth, the Japanese wiki entry says BooBo's （ブーブ) concept was a black pig.
