Wow, that's a pretty legendary pedigree, and it feels like I only just watched Astro Note and A Condition Called Love.
I wonder if they'll put a tribute to him in the Nube-sensei reboot.
RIP Onishi-san. Thank you for all the fantastic work you've done.

This is really sad to hear!!! When I read in the ANN article that he had his start on Fist of the North Star anime, that does effect me because I'm currently putting on hold that anime. Any animator that was involved in anime that I'm watching or watched in the past does effect me because of the work and contribution they did.

One of Toei's best animators, whose work stood out particularly in uneven shows like the second year of Saint Seiya Omega. May he rest in peace.
