All female?
The X kabuki had all male actors but this gets all female? Guess Clive is gonna give a different impression

Pretty sure Takarazuka Revue has always been and likely always will be female actresses. That's part of their novelty!

I actually kind of like it’s an inversion of the FFX Kabuki performance. Variety and all that.

This is the first one I've heard of.
If they do any others in the future, I think FFVI would be fantastic. FFIV and FFVIII would be good picks for the Takarazuka treatment as well.

Off the top of my head, I think their organisation actually has a historical lineage to it. They've been around for a while, and this likely isn't just something that is being pulled out of a hat, so I'm excited to see where an all-female cast could take a dark Final Fantasy plot. Very interesting.

Yeah, it's a famed all-female acting troupe who have worked on adaptations of popular plays, manga, etc. Kageki Shojo was actually based off of the Takarazuka Revue. And is quite a good anime. Still hoping for a S2.
