I'm just gonna leave here that this will have an official cinematic release in Germany later this year (and I can't wait!)

I avoided reading most of the article as I haven't watched the movie yet and want to avoid spoilers, but it seems like it's really good both in the sex department and plot department. Somewhat reminds me of the PrimeTime ovas from 10 years ago with how explicit they got, though with better production values than them. I have high hopes for both GRIZZLY and Blue Lynx in the future (the latter produced the Given movie and Umibe no Etranger, and while I haven't watched the Given movie I absolutely loved Umibe)

I don't think Blue Lynx is an anime production studio like GRIZZLY. I think it is still a company that produces anime though. But I thought Given was animated by Lerche and Umibe was animated by Studio Hibari. Maybe more on the marketing and commercial aspect as opposed to the actual animation portion of production? |

Oh yeah I know they're not a studio, though it seems like they're not as involved in production as I thought they were yeah (Wikipedia refers to them as a "label and subsidiary" of Fuji TV). Still excited to see what other projects they announce though, since the only upcoming things are the two Saezuru sequels. |

Since revenue is a key indicator for future development, do you know if any of their films performed well at the box office? I heard Given was fairly successful despite it was showing at limited theatres only. What about Umibe (I heard the BR/DVDs sold very moderately, nothing spectacular) and Saezuru? I must say Given, Umibe and Saezuru are very different films. I am kind of glad that Blue Lynx is at least open to different types of BL stories, which is probably more of a commercial consideration than an artistic consideration. |

I almost spit out my dinner (don't ask) when I got to the spitroast part. I didn't get it at first until Nick explained it.
I had forgotten this was out! So much stuff to watch and not enough time to watch it in. I haven't read the manga either, but Yoneda Kou has created some amazing titles. I love to see animated BL. We don't get enough of it. |
