Two Lupin III TV specials in one year is unprecedented, isn't it? I hope it's at least as decent as the previous one.

^ Agreed. I liked Goodbye Partner and I hope they can keep it up. And we got 2 films this year as well.

The plot sounds like a lot of fun, but what really gets me excited is the return of Yata from Part 5. I felt he was really underused in that series, so I hope this is a sign that he'll stick around as a semi-regular who can show up when Zenigata needs a sidekick, rather than them always coming up with a new one.

Finally a Lupin special with a good premise so I am already hopefully this will be automatically better than the last special and hard to mess up. Also neat to see Yata who was indeed just underused like many Zenigata's right hand. Not a fan of the character design style but whatever really great to see two special in the same year happening :)

Not to mention, there's an upcoming movie in the year-end.
