Sword Art Online: Alicization airs at 12AM that day, not The Promised Neverland. That’s ending this week

This is glorious, but won't it be censored?

Apparently the more questionable time placements are due to a "higher up exec" thing where the actual Toonami team got their hands twisted.

Hopefully this means that CR will work with Sentai on dubbing the third season finally. The show does seem like a good fit for Toonami though, and I was just thinking the other day that I was surprised they hadn’t aired it yet.

What's even there to censor? Nippless women's breasts? And this airs at 1 in the [expletive] morning? I obviously don't understand how tyrannical American television is.....

People are probably just assuming it'll be censored to hell and back because Demarco hates fanservice and they recently cut 2 minutes of content from episode 10 of SAO, ignoring the fact that the content they cut was purely gratuitous and didn't alter the point of the episode in any way as a result of its removal.

But there's a big difference between sexual violence (i assuming that's what it is based on what I've heard of SAO) and mild, already censored nudity. If anything, Id think in this day and age you'd see more backlash for censoring a woman's body then the puritans freaking out over it.

I refuse to believe that William Street execs care that much about a late night anime to do this.

Well there were moments of Kill la KIll that got censored that were actually ok to show.

I assume this is happening because of Crunchyroll's involvement. I am convinced that only 2 Sentai shows (3 if you count Big O) have aired on Toonami because Sentai has somehow refused.
