Funimation also announced on their pre order planned releases last week that they were releasing a dub for Nichijou but I guess that isnt news

That's interesting, didn't they release a sub-only version? I mean it's good news, but it seems a bit odd to do it after all this time.

That's interesting, didn't they release a sub-only version? I mean it's good news, but it seems a bit odd to do it after all this time. |
People were clamoring for a dub on social media like crazy whenever the sub was being advertized. Could have been a rights issue as well though I guess but hey it's coming in July

I'm glad to hear about the Reign OVA, I can watch the stream on Funimation's site.
The second season of MP was even better than the first so I hope I can watch the dub.
This show was on Adult Swim, if I remember so I'm sure they'll also get this season.

True. I don't seem to recall Funimation going back and dubbing a sub-only release before, but Sentai has done it enough times to suggest that it's worthwhile for the right titles. Regardless, that is good news.
It's nice to see the Mob announcement, too. They announced the dub would be on their service a while ago, and then nothing. Also, it's cool to see some of what I assume are sublicenses now, going the other way. As much as entertainment companies are wanting to horde content for their own services, I think they stand to make customers far happier if they give them options.

Why was the dubbing of Mob Psycho 100 II delayed anyway?
Not that I'm complaining. I had plenty to watch in the winter and less this spring.

More than likely I think they had to wait until the sub finished airing before doing anything
