While I'm not a fan Fairy Tail personally this spin-off looks like it could be funny if done right? Going off the art and name only I'm thinking of it like this, Natsu and Lucy become a buddy cop pair to bust the most notorious drug lords of LA (if you want to go international). They become the heroes of the city by arresting the worst criminal scum, teaching them that crime doesn't pay. Notably it of course needs to be super 80s and over the top. |

I feel like the spinoff manga can be hit or miss, so I'll hold out on judgement until I see more information on it. But I am curious about it, and will likely check it out once it comes out.

Who is Ushio Andou? Did Hiro just make up the idea and pass it along for creation? Ah well its not like it really matters, I do hope this will spawn more Lucy Doujins though. |

Oh wait, I see. This is a different project altogether from the sequel. It kind of makes sense with this tweet, which seems to mention "Zokuhen" and "City Hero" as two distinct things. |

I want a spin-off that properly resolves the main series' snafu ending: Lucy collecting all the Zodiac keys and kissing Natsu. Better yet, she marries him and has his kid.

On the one hand that would be nice since it's Mashima actually committing to one of the ships in FT that he set up, but on the other its cliche and out of place as all belief and I will hope with all my might that it doesn't happen. |

Just make a Hentai out of Fairy Tail already. When it comes to the bad plot, bad characters, bad writing, bad mythology, bad world building, bad magic explanation. The only way it can redeem itself is what a full fledged hentai series.

On Eden Zero, I've seen some pages floating around online, not sure if it's something that I'll get myself. Found it strange that, seemingly, there's a talking cat named Happy in it... |

Happy is in "Edens Zero" for the same reason Plue came to "Fairy Tail" from "Rave Master". Also, the first chapter of EZ is quite possibly the best intro for anything Hiro has ever written. |
