Has anybody licensed the To-Love Ru TV series or the OVAs yet for release in other territories (preferably the US)?

This phenomenon of releasing OVAs with manga is relatively new. I wonder, are they going to re-release these DVDs later on as singles or a collection, too, in Japan?

nope, as far as I know nobody has this series yet. I know the manga is outside of the japan is mostly around asia but not in the US. I wouldn't mind the manga coming here at all since it's really really good (I'm currently at chapter 130) but the anime series feels like fillers to me. I just hope the OVA has some of the later elements the manga does.

But is it available in English, or only French? If it is in English, I'll happily import it.

The anime was fine until they went away from the manga storyline, then it veered into mediocrity.

It's only available in French, unfortunately. In fact, all the manga in my local bookstore are the french versions imported from France.

Well, I'm bilingual, but that's besides the point... Wink

MrAnimespecialist:
Would you please tell me of a Canadian store that sells french published manga? (I know it will be in french, obviously)
I am interested in the I´s (Masakazu Katsura) kanzenbans and those are published in France.
Also, do you know if Asuka´s Hokuto No Ken has color pages=? (I ask because of your avatar, maybe you are collecting that manga)

Thanks in advance.

You can find a healthy selection of manga in any good bookstore here in Quebec. The ones I recommend (which I know of) is the Renaud-Bray bookstore in the Promenades St-Bruno shopping mall in St-Bruno and the Librairie du Carrefour in the Carrefour Richelieu shopping mall in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

I can't quite remember if I's is in my local bookstore, so I'll get back to you on that (it should be there, I think). Also, no, Asuka's Hokuto No Ken does not have any color pages.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I live in the Montérégie region.
