Surprisingly short, compared to the Hosoda movie. Not a bad read, but could have explored the time-leaping concept more thoroughly. And other than the awkward embrace of "peaceful" nuclear energy, Tsutsui's vision of the future where machines make humans obsolete is dead-on. But overall, I think the bonus story, "The Stuff That Nightmares Are Made Of" is a lot more satisfying. And I think the way the latter explores fears is thematically more in tune with Satoshi Kon's Paprika than the official Paprika novel. Anyway, overall, the Tokikake book is a fun and engaging read.
