If I had $250,000 to put into an anime related project it sure wouldn't be a live-action adaptation. Those things are just doomed to failure.

It was probably just a scam anyway and these people have finally had enough to say "show us the movie, or give us back our money".

Yeah, this movie is not happening for sure. Not that I had particularly high hopes for it or anything to begin with.

This looks to be a scam. It has not to do with that possibility.
