If you don't live in southern New Jersey, you can stop reading now, the rest won't apply to you...unless you want to keep reading, of course. Then go on and get down with your bad selves, but be aware that this won't mean jack to you in the least ;]
Anyway, now that we (maybe) cleared out some of the filler. I belong to a 4-piece band in Southern New Jersey; basic landmarks are around Moorestown, Westampton, Burlington, Allentown, etc. if any of those ring a bell. We're all teenagers, and have been jamming together since mid-summer, and consist of two guitarists (one of them being myself), a bassist, and a drummer. We're all pretty skilled in our musicianship, and we're all big anime fans/g4merz. And we also don't have a singer. Here's where this post comes in. I realize that this probably sounds stalker-like, but here's the deal. If you live in or around where we live, are around 14-17 years old, like a wide variety of music (really the only stuff excluded is bubblegum pop, gangsta rap and truly obnoxious emo music), think you can sing and want to be in a band, then reply to this post and get in touch with me. Our search for a singer has lead us to a pretty dead-end wall, and we've pretty much exhausted all of our options when it comes to looking for one. Thus, of course, turning to this forum. Anyway, I know this is vague and is pretty much the classroom definition of an internet stalker staking out message boards, but I guess you'll have to take my word for its authenticity. If you're reading this post, it means you obviously are interested in music, anime and games, and so you're the perfect sort of person we're looking for. Anyways, if you're interested, just reply, and I'll try to get to you via email or something with more details. |
