So excited about HikaGo! I really hope they'll eventually release DVDs of the last 30 episodes, even if it's in a sub-only format. I'd love to finally be able to delete all the fansubs of the series off my hard drive.

good to hear that Neo-ADV is embracing selling stuff over the internet; that IS how we watch stuff more these days, and if they have any hope of survival -- UNLIKE what that Bang Zoom! guy says -- they need to switch over

Yes! So glad VIZ is finally releasing more Hikago. But good god the english dub was so terrible. Would be nice if they did a better dub. And it would be nice if they released HikaGO in boxsets like they do with their other series.

This. so much this.

I have the first 11 DVDs in singles. Really would like the rest even if sub only in a no-frills box.

Ditto. Obviously there weren't many of us, otherwise they wouldn't have halted the releases, but... Yeah, it sucks. Something's better than nothing though, right?

(I still haven't figured out what to do with my Babbit bag, since I don't want it to get damaged. Right now it's just... on display.)

They've been streaming titles at Anime Network and YouTube for almost two years now. Their first title went up on iTunes about a year ago now, so this is nothing new for them.

But I'm kinda pumped that I can get Clannad to go now!

Is the reason kids now a days like media on the computer because they are to lazy to turn the TV on , turn the DVD player on , switch to the video input , hit open on the DVD player , take the disc out of the case , put the disc in the DVD player , close the DVD player , wait for it to start , try to skip the ads , and finally hit play/enter to start it? Laughing

I'm ok with streaming and online ,but I still prefer having a actual physical disc I bought in hand even if its a burn on demand type deal.

The dub is already done. There is no reason for them not to put it on any DVD release.

I think it's more that streaming is free and accessible and people have more of a need to stretch their budgets nowadays. Personally I usually watch streaming to either check out a show first, watch series I don't feel are worth a purchase/rental, or watch series that are hard to find on DVD (like FotNS).

I got my Babbit plush hanging from my rearview. Everyone thinks its a Pokemon Very Happy

I love Hikaru no Go as well, but I've pretty much given up on collecting it. So many COMPLETE series out there I'd rather spend a mini fortune on.
