I was wondering if they have a soundtrack of the BGM that was played during the episodes, or whether those are supposed to be included in the character image song CDs. I found the CD that has all the ending karaoke songs, but nothing that is just the soundtrack. Does a CD exist or is there a chance that we will see its forthcoming?

According to wikipedia, the BGM CDs are called Lucky Star BGM & Radio Bangumi "Lucky ☆ Channel" no Digest o Shūroku Shita Special CD... From what I gather, they seem to be CDs that come with the DVD releases, and that's why they aren't listed in amazon.co.jp... So, finding and picking these up through legit means seems to be more difficult than usual. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Well when it comes to anime Cd's you would probably have to wait before it makes its way to your local (Country) markets online if you want to get it an easier way, but overall Anime Cd's don't really sell anywhere but in Japan. You'll have trouble getting your hands on it if you want to "purchase" it, but if you just want to get the songs, i think you should take a different idea on how to get the Lucky Star Cd's (Whether it be charecter or anime cd)
