and yet another person afflicted with that "cough up blood and die" disease that preys so heavily on manga and anime characters.

That would be tuberculosis. It has been endemic in Japan throughout its history, and in the context of this story it would have been known as rogai (cough and consume).

I loved this arc, especially after the previous one. Piffle world couldn't end soon enough, and that was really dragging the story down. It was making me start to hate the series as a whole, but then I looked back and realized that I liked every arc but Piffle World.

The arcs have all been fun so far, but I want the story to get going. There's been alot of build up with the villains and with the Syaoran double, but no payoff yet. From what I hear, it's gonna get very good very soon. Can anyone confirm that?

And volume 14 just came out last week, so I'm definitely gonna pick that up today.

I think Piffle World was the worst arc.

That's good to hear. Volume 16 is exactly where I heard it gets really good.

Oh yeah, the manga is about to get REALLY good. The end of volume 14 starts the greatest story arc ever. (at least, that's my opinion...)

Maybe I'll give the series a few more volumes to see if it can regain my interest. I was losing interest before volume 13 and was considering dropping it, but I'll read 13 first.

Well if you mean in all of manga? Then no.
Its only second to the Jinchu Arc in Rurouni Kenshin.

Oh God, Kurogane's backstory is only the beginning. From the next volume on, it gets darker and darker as the next volume marks the start of Acid Tokyo. Thank you, God. <3

To people wondering when Tsubasa is gonna get around to the main plot, break away from it's repetitive routine, and actually progress somewhere, the answer is right around the corner with Acid Tokyo. In Tokyo, you see past Fai's mask and get a brief glimpse into his past, Sakura grows a backbone and actually does something, Kurogane shows he does, in fact, care about Fai, and the truth about the two Syaorans comes to light. And to top it all off, the vampire twins Seishirou talked about searching for waaaaay back in Outa make an appearance.

Ah, I've been waiting for it. The dark days of Tsubasa have finally begun. Twisted Evil
