This has to be the wierdest thing that's happened to me! Shocked Has anyone liked two characters out of two compeletely different animes, then find out they have the same voice actors? Example: Duo Maxwell, Koga, and Wolverine (it came the fastest to my mind) I did not know they had the same voice actor 'till someone told me, I'm just like, whoa, dude! That is awsome. Or, here's another example: Sally Poe, Laura Haruna, and Kagome, I think they should all die because they annoy me (go figure). Has this EVER happened to anyone else? Or do I stand alone? Anime dazed That's all folks!

Actually, a lot of the VAs from Inu Yasha also do X-Men: Evolution. Richard Cox (Inu Yasha) does Quicksilver's voice and the VA who does Sesshomaru also does Professor X, I'm told.

Speaking of X-Men: Evo & Inuyasha.... Kirby Morrow is Miroku and Scott/Cyclops. I discovered this while link-hopping through ANN one day. ^-^;

I've been hearing repeat voices all over the place and I think it's kinda funny at first, but after the amusement dies down, you realize that having the same voice doesn't change the character itself.

Or at least ones that do anime. Anyway, this is fairly common, as dubbing studios tend to have their own little "rosters" or somesuch of voice actors that are typically loyal to that company (Ocean's are probably the best known). Then there are those like David Lucas, who aren't really tied to one specific company to my knowledge, but get around in enough majour roles to be well-known (and liked, I'm a big David Lucas fan...if you don't know, he's done Spike in Cowboy Bebop, Shishio in Kenshin, Roger in Big O, Celesten (sp? it's been a while) in Ah! Megami-Sama: The Movie, and I THINK I heard his voice in a series of 7-11 commercials Laughing eh, pays the bills).

if you like Davis Lucas so much you might like this.

http://www.jazzmess.com/down/index.html

it has voice reels for his animation and commercials. it also has stuff for Wendee Lee, and Beau Billingslea.

I've always found it kind of hysterical that Crispin Freeman voices both Arucard from Hellsing and Hideki Motosuwa from Chobits.

Kind of two ends of the spectrum, huh?

Okay, Tomokazu Seki continues to freak me out. Shocked He can go from such high-pitched voices as Chichiri & Shinbo (Fushigi Yuugi & Chobits), to completely deep & commanding voices like Sousuke (Full Metal Panic!). Such versatility...

Yeah, he's really talented. I wish all those Japanese guys looked somewhat like the characters they voice for. :roll:

It still boggles me that Ruby Marlowe, the voice actress for that annoying bitch Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi, did the voice of Lain. That's just TOO weird. Shocked

When I watched Otaku no Video again (in Japanese), I had thought to myself that the character looked like Captain Tylor. Ironically, it's the same voice actor. Completely different times, completely different shows, same guy. Very Happy

Kinda sorta, after looking into who did some of the voices Neon Genesis Evangelion I found Megumi Hayashibara did the voice for 2 of my favorite characters in the series. (Pen Pen had a voice?) After doing some searching I found out she was singer and now I have a lot of her songs. I also enjoyed Faye from Cowboy bebop so I guess thats a yes Smile
