From a band called Dir En Grey. They’re a Japanese band that makes really good hard rock music. They are actually coming out with a new CD on February 20th titled “The Marrow of a Bone.” I was able to preview their CD at my internship site with UMGD. I think all the instrumentals on the CD is really unique, its goes along with their songs really well. If you guys have a chance check out their myspace page, www.myspace.com/officialdirengrey. Or you can download a mp3 of one of their songs at [snip].
[EDIT: I don't mind you linking to their official site, but unless that mp3 you tried posting is authorized by them to download for free and without any legal implications, we don't allow links to those. Thanks. -TK] |

No thanks. I'd rather listen to GOOD Japanese metal.
With bands like X-Japan, Sigh, Concerto Moon and Metalucifer, I have no use for Dir En Grey. Oh, and there's another DEG thread on this very page. |

I'm losing interest in the new Dir en Grey. They''re getting too screamy metal for me.

I'm not into metal and hard rock in general, but I can't stand Dir en Grey. The screaming and the ugly voices, ugh. Yet fangirls all over love them
Heh, No offense to you "Diru" fans. |

I like the new one from Dir En Grey. I knew it's sometimes not so easy listening...but I like bands who are extreme.
