Ouch! The first big l loss for us who live outside USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, I suppose Ledford will lease it to Netflix next year but by then my interest in this series will be down next to the titanic.

Guess I'm pirating it then.

Licensor is King Records, I wouldn't call it a surprise.

Has nothing to do with King Records being the licensor. CR has licensed shows from King Records plenty of times the past couple seasons/years. Sentai just simply won the bid for this license.

Yeah they won it, but my point was that in the current fiscal year Sentai has made business with no more than 5 different companies for new titles, with MBS, King Records and Pony Canyon on the top, aside mahoako they haven't acquired anything else from Kadokawa, but next season they snapped 2 titles from KR, if they get a title the possibility of being of one of those licensors increase, hence why my comment.

No, it won't stream in countries that don't have their own anime-specialized streaming platforms. Which, in case you didn't know, means most of the world.

At this point it's very difficult for me to feel bad about Crunchyroll's monopoly and cheer for their competition when said competition completely ignores the rest of the world and prevents so many people (myself included) from having legal access to so many anime. Sentai still has the licenses to their pre-2024 simulcasts in my country but no longer streams them, rendering them inaccessible.
