I remember playing Dark Duel Stories on gameboy back in the day..the rules of the Yugioh games have changed since then so people use to modern game rules might be a bit weirded out.

God, I remember the early stages of that game was scaled such that a normal monster with ~1000 atk was your trump card.
Even for the physical card game at the time, that felt weird.

We need a remaster of Duelist of the Roses. It's a phenomenonal game with phenomenal music to boot.

Great to see that all 8 games in the Duel Monsters series are confirmed!
Though Duel Monsters 5 is seemingly just the Eternal Duelist Soul version, that's fine by me considering that was the version I grew up playing, lol.
If the collection still has more to add, I'd be curious to see if the True Duel Monsters console games (Forbidden Memories and Duelist of the Roses) can make it in too. I know a lot of people want those.

I'd love a collection of Duelist of The Roses and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom. I remember loving both of these games when I was younger, but I'd love a new release with some QoL options.

Very cool; so it's basically going to be the entire collection of the Duel Monsters game series. DM6 is probably my favorite overall.

if this end up with online support, it'll have the potential to be a mega hit collection. people are sick of online TCG game and would rather play the OG console ones that were more about fun than baiting whalers and collectors

Sacred Cards is similar in that way. It and its sequel Reshef have some semi-brutal difficulty shifts and grinding requirements, but they both represent a wonderfully-nostalgic snapshot of what an immersive place the Yugioh world was back when it was predominantly an Egyptian demon-summoning game.
This collection just shot to the top of my wishlists if all of these earlier Yugioh games with bizarre non-traditional rulesets are going to be easily playable against friends. To be able to go back in time and experience the devastation a Man Eater Bug could cause in early Yugioh.... very exciting times. Most of the games in the collection are very unique compared to their modern counterparts.

When Konomai does a good thing. It gets my hope up that they will turn their ship around.
