This is a direct stream from Harmony Gold who owns the rights.

Nope, this is from Harmony Gold's ongoing deal with Sony Pictures that's almost 10 years old now.

Same reason Funimation released Robotech on Blu-ray a few years back.

Nope, all Diskotek licenses are only available in the USA and maybe Canada, this one is available outside those markets.

While this bodes well for the eventual addition of SDF Macross & Southern Cross, which some online stated would never happen "because of HG", there is unfortunately a problem with Mospeada's stream.

Namely, as pointed out on Twitter, it uses Tatsunoko's own HD remaster as the source for the video, which showcases the seams between frames like crazy. Apparently this was also a problem with Tatsunoko's old DVD release (something that ADV actually put the effort in to hide for its DVD release in the 00), but it's even worse now.

Also, Mospeada: Love Live Alive isn't included over on Crunchyroll, so the literal only way to watch the original Japanese version of that OVA remains A&E's giant Robotech DVD boxset from around a decade ago or so, as OG LLA was included there as an exclusive extra.

Its real and exists...but it's just a bunch of short stories.

I have been waiting for an English dub for years. Hopefully, they will come out with One for this, and the anime, that they based Robotech Masters on as well.
