I love how the teaser is basically a big meeting which has become 60-70% of the shows' content.
But yeah, a new movie and season was pretty much what I expected.

I stopped watching because of all the BS meetings.

The festival arc was hand-down my least favorite in the novel too , now i can't wait to see Chloe's arc.

The meetings were grating but I liked the festival plus I want to see how the story progresses, so count me in.

I think I'll be waiting on some reviews for season 4 after this damp cardboard standee of an arc. It'd have to be something amazing to get me interested in Rimuru and Co. after 24 episodes of nearly nothing happening. That or a very very slow season when it comes out.

These characters are fun so I'm down for another season of meetings.

I don't know whether it's the subs or the original Japanese, but the use of the phrase "co-prosperity sphere" in the final episode of season 3 is incredibly uncomfortable.

I wonder if in 2037 we Will get "slime season 13 has been approved" at this rate.

4 more seasons much probably if they don't change the pacing.
They are almost halfway now (unless the autor expands the novel that is supposed to end on vol 22).

Yes, the reference is in the Japanese as well, and yes it is kind of disturbing, though perhaps not surprising, that the author is seemingly using it in an entirely positive manner.

Agreed. Whenever this is brought up in a positive light, I always think of Full Frontal (the villian!) from Gundam Unicorn who proposed the same economic exclusion zone...only for its flaws to be immediately pointed out (and how it was really just an excuse to get back at the government anyway).
Woof.

I liked this series a lot more when they were building the town. The excessive meeting scenes killed it for me.
