Let me guess.. it's gonna get closed down after a year. Who are companies making these smartphone "games" for..
Gash Bell isn't Pokemon or Dragon Ball, it's not popular enough to sustain it's own live service game, and doesn't even have a running anime.
Can we please go back to the console games era? These gacha are just money laundering at this point, I'm sure even the devs are aware of it.

The sequel manga is currently running and is very good.
I'm not a big fan of gacha either, but I'm liking the artwork in the trailer so if we get a bunch of new artwork out of it I think it's fine.

Mobile games are very cheap to make and have the potential for more profit vs investment. I would love a new console Gashbell fighter but I don't see how any company could justify making one right now when even the top dog anime series currently airing get mediocre outings. Console development costs a lot of time and money to make a good game.
I'm more praying for a new anime reboot one day and then the sequel being animated as well.

I assume this probably won't get a Global version.

I love Kasabuta. OxT did an amazing cover.
As for the mobile game, it is not needed. But you have to make a mobile game out of everything then shut it down shortly after.

Which sucks for the consumers. Because these games only exist to find profit and then die, and that's it. Zero passion.

A mediocre game is still better than a failed gacha. At least I can still play these, for as long as I want.
