I had the chance to meet Billy last year at an anime convention. Now I highly regret not getting a photograph with him. He was so kind and just had a happy vibe going the entire time. I don't go manga panels at cons anymore. However, I went to every single one of his panels that weekend. He even held a "fight me in Smash Bros" panel in the game hall where he would kick your ass at Smash Bros Infront of a crowd of people. I managed to take down one of his lives before he kicked my butt. It was such a nice, fun time. Cancer took him far too soon. He will be greatly missed.

I actually just finished watching Cells at Work. I really enjoyed his voice acting. He felt like one of the up and coming big names. Life is cruel sometimes, no other way to say it.
RIP[/code]

It's sad to see Billy Kametz go,even when he had so much left to give. Yeah, cancer is really nasty and he really didn't deserve this kind of exit from this life. So long,Mr. Kametz. It's a shame your life was so short. It should have been a lot longer.

I don't like most English dub voice actors but he had talent. He had so much talent. I enjoyed watching his performance in Promare. I've seen clips of his roles. So young too....

I don't watch many dubs but he was great in Demon Slayer as Rui.
Rest in Peace.

Wow, younger than me, too. Just completely unfair.
I loved his Josuke in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.

Sad...His work has ended too soon. Let's all take what happened to heart and if there are changes to your lower GI tract behavior, get it checked now. If over 50, get regular colon cancer screening and colonoscopy.

35. Most doctors don’t recommend you get a colon cancer screening until you’re 40. Cancer is insidious.
RIP. Going through his filmography it’s amazing just how many works he was in that occupied my spare time.

This is a gut-punch.
Like, even knowing how serious it was, I still held some hope he might pull through and beat it, and now...now it's just so, so sad.
I've been following Billy's career for a while now and ever since he played Josuke I've been a massive fan of his. He always put such charisma, humanity, and personality into the characters he portrayed and always put his all into voicing them. And on-top of that he was a great person and someone who, from what I've seen, was beloved by the VA community. Which makes this even harder.
RIP Billy. Thank you for everything.
