A quarter of the country's entire box office revenue for the year was Mugen Train. That is bonkers.

(I really should check out KnY sometime -- any advantages to watching Mugen Train in movie vs. TV formats?)

Part of me, still stuck in the early 2010s, is unnerved to see that plunge in the BD/DVD sales graph, and to realize just how much of the industry is now shaped by the demands of the global manic buffet.
