And this is why I love the series. A loving mother who tries to understand her son and his sexuality and the discussions and stigma over people's view of being gay.

I love this story, but damn I wish the love interest had better hair!
It's such a dumb thing to nitpick but seriously, what is that??

Where has this series been all my life? Oh, it's been my life, that's where. This series covers everything: the nervous laugh-along responses to microagressions, those times a girl is so far off your radar you accidentally say something really misleading, cutting commentary on fetishization. I've been flipping though what's available on Pixiv (which happens to be most of the series, if you can read Japanese), and I don't think I've ever felt so understood by a manga before. Time to crack open my wallet for the print release.
Daigo is very unashamedly a bara stock character, terrible hair and all. I kind of adore that. Yuri's hair is also terrible (terrible hair honestly just a thing in bara), but he's still playing a PSP in 2019, and that is a level of commitment I can respect.

I have both volumes so far and the third on pre-order. Yeah, this manga is really nice and I just wish each volume was longer. It looks real skinny on my bookshelf.

I'm really glad that everyone has collectively agreed that Daigo's hair is stupid. It makes him look like a pineapple
